Do you pose families?

Yes—but not every photograph will be posed. I'll provide gentle direction so you know what to do while also creating space for natural interaction and genuine moments.

What if we're awkward in front of the camera?

That's completely normal. You don't need to know how to pose. I'll guide you throughout the session and give you simple prompts that help create natural movement and connection.

Do you photograph children who don't sit still?

Absolutely. In fact, movement can make for some of the most genuine photographs. Rather than expecting children to remain perfectly still, I'll work with their personalities and energy.

Can we bring our dog?

If pets are appropriate for your chosen location and session, let me know when you inquire so we can plan accordingly.

Do you offer outdoor sessions?

Yes. Outdoor sessions can be a beautiful fit for families and maternity photography. We'll choose a setting that complements the feeling you want for your photographs.

Do you offer newborn photography?

Yes. Birth In Love offers lifestyle newborn photography focused on natural connection and the early days of family life.

How far do you travel?

Birth In Love is based in Western Wisconsin and serves the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Travel outside the regular service area may be available for an additional fee.

How many photographs will we receive?

The number of included edited photographs depends on the session you choose. See the Investment page for current package details.

Can you help us know what to wear?

Yes. Once your session is booked, I can provide guidance to help your clothing coordinate naturally with the location and overall feel of your photographs.
